March, Free Festival at Sydney Gardens and New Late Stage Event

Bath Pride will return on Saturday 22nd August 2026, bringing a full day of celebration and community to the city with a Pride march in Bath city centre, a free festival at Sydney Gardens, and a brand-new evening programme.

Now entering its third year, Bath Pride has become an important date in the city’s summer calendar. The event is rooted in five core values: affirming, justice-led, grassroots, vibrant and safe, with a commitment to amplifying marginalised voices within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Bath Pride March

The Bath Pride March will take place from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, with residents, visitors, local businesses and allies invited to join a visible celebration of pride and solidarity LGBTQIA+ communities in Bath and beyond.

Pride in the Park

Following the march, Pride in the Park will begin from 1:30pm at Sydney Gardens.

This free Bath Pride festival will feature:

• Live music
• Performances
• Community groups
• Independent traders and stalls
• Family-friendly daytime celebrations
• Opportunities to connect with local organisations

The Late Stage

New for this year, Bath Pride will launch The Late Stage from 6:00pm onwards at Sydney Gardens.

Designed for 18+ audiences, the evening programme will continue the celebrations with later performances, entertainment and community energy into the night.

Bath Pride 2026 Theme: Stand Up, Show Up

Phoenix Dewberry (they/them), founder of Safe Space Bath, said:

Community-Led and Volunteer Run

Bath Pride is a volunteer-led grassroots charity, supported through donations and backing from local independent businesses. Organisers say this model helps keep the event free, accessible and rooted in the Bath community.
